Seems my flash-fiction piece "Cthonic" came in fifth place in the Clarity of Night's "Uncovered" Short Fiction Contest. Allow me to reiterate my earlier emotional response: Hoo dee, hoo dee! ISLF was well represented in the winner's circle, not only with my piece but also with those by regular commentors. Aerin Bender-Stone's "Heirloom" took second, B. Nagel ("Fifths") and Samuel (aka Ollwen) Jones ("Haina Baraka") both earned honorable mentions. Be sure to check out their stories and give them your congrats.(Picture: CC 2008 by vissago)

I listened to the recording too, but my minds wanders too much for following the story well in that media.
