"Contextualization"

Outside, the moaning grew louder.

"Listen, you all have the wrong perspective." Yarborough's gesticulations grew more animated. "Ethics is a contextual discipline. Given a different time period or geography or, in this case, biology, who's to say what you'd condemn as wrong?"

The ragged band of survivors stared at him. A filthy girl with an oozing cut above her eye began sniffling.

"Stow it, professor," Grant said, peering down the shotgun's barrel.

Yarborough kept on: "Perhaps there's nothing to fear at all. Perhaps BN423 is a viral evolutionary leap."

"We'll let you find out first," Grant grunted. "Here they come."
