Phraselet No. 74

A pleasing woody, herbaceous blend that's warm and masculine; very down-to-earth, but sensuous. A dab, a dram, a damsel -- you fill in the rest.

A drubbing?

Is that "the rest" that they were looking for?

That depends on the damsel, I think.

Are they selling wine, coffee, or cologne? Wow. I read something somehwere, that the real difference between a wine reviewer and an average person isn't so much the development of palate, as it is the vocabulary. The language to describe the elements of a flavor help the person distinguish them.

This is actually cologne, although alcohol and seduction seem to play a part in the marketing. Interestingly, much of the fun part of the description has been scrubbed from the online version of the catalogue.
