Unblocked

I don’t believe in writer’s block any more than I believe in muses. But I will confess that there are times it feels easier to fell a tree with a herring than to jot down a paragraph. Merlin Mann of 43 Folders has a great post up (which you can read here) on practical ways to make the words keep coming. A number of his suggestions are of the keep-the-pencil-moving variety. Others, though, take delightfully different tacks, such as adopting an arbitrary ritual to give structure to your efforts or endlessly cycling an instrumental piece of music you've never heard before. Witty and worthwhile.
